What makes Deals Outlet different?

Most retailers buy directly from vendors. We buy by the truckload from the nation’s largest retailers — and pass those bulk discounts straight to you.

What kind of merchandise do you carry?

Overstock, out-of-season goods, customer returns, and new or refurbished items across household goods, electronics, toys, cosmetics, and more.

How often does inventory change?

Weekly. A fresh truckload goes out on each store’s restock day and the bins are not topped up again until the next one — what changes daily is the price, which drops every day until the next restock.

How does the pricing work?

Every location restocks on its own day of the week, starting bins at $10. The price drops daily from there — check the Locations page for your store’s exact schedule. Shelved items, clothing, and shoes are the exception — those carry their own set price, marked right on the tag.

What day does each store restock?

Every store restocks on its own day, and that is when bins start at $10. Byron restocks Saturday, Warner Robins and Gainesville on Thursday, and Tallahassee on Friday. We open at 9am on restock day instead of 10am, and each store closes the day after its $1 day to set the new load.

Do the bins get refilled during the week?

No. Bins are filled once on restock day and picked over from there — nobody tops them up mid-week. That thinning out is exactly why the price falls: come early for the best pick at $10, or late for the cheapest prices on what is left.

What’s your return policy?

All bin sales are final — no returns, refunds or exchanges. That is the trade for the price: we buy by the truckload and skip the item-by-item inspection that would otherwise be built into what you pay. So we moved the checking to the front instead — every store has Unboxing and Testing Stations on the floor, and you are welcome to try things before you get in line. Auction wins are sold as is too, but if one turns up broken or was misrepresented in the listing, contact us within 7 days of purchase.

How do the online auctions work?

The auction lets you take part without being in the store — bid from your phone whenever it suits you, then pay and collect at the register within 48 hours of winning. It can be almost anything — electronics, household items and essentials, organizers, toys, home decor and plenty besides. Every item gets its own post in your store’s Facebook group. Posts go up at 7:30 PM and close at 7:00 PM the next day, bids start at $5, and the highest bid at close wins — then you pay and collect at that store within 48 hours. All four groups are listed on our Auctions page.

Can you hold something for me?

Prime Deals, yes — Prime items are not allowed in the bin section, so if you want one set aside just ask a member of staff. Auction wins, yes — call the store or message us in your store’s Facebook group and we will keep it behind the register. Bin items, no — bin merchandise is not allowed on the Prime shelves, so there is nowhere to put it. A bin item stays in the bin until someone takes it to the register.

Do you offer gift cards?

Not yet — it’s something we’re considering for the future.

How do I apply for a job?

Apply online through our Careers page, or in person at any Deals Outlet location.

How do I find out what’s new?

Follow your store’s Facebook page. New arrivals, $1 days and special sales get posted there first — and each store also runs its own Facebook auction group.

Is the selection the same at every store?

No — since we buy based on what our retail partners have available, quantity and selection vary by store and by week.

Can I open packages to see what’s inside?

Yes — at the Unboxing and Testing Station. Every store has two: one for bin items and one for Prime Deals. Take anything you are unsure about over, open it, plug it in, and see what you have before you buy. Just don’t open packages out at the bins — leave the merchandise the way you would want to find it.

Are all the bins priced the same?

Bins are priced by the day, not the item — everything in a given bin is the same price no matter what it is. Some shelved items, clothing, and shoes are the exception and carry their own set price instead, marked right on the tag.

What forms of payment do you take?

Cash and card — chip, swipe or tap — plus Apple Pay and Google Pay. We can also split a payment between cash and card.

Is there a limit on how much I can buy?

No limit, on any day. Fill your cart. Resellers are welcome too, including first thing on restock morning — when the doors open, everyone comes in together.

What is there besides the bins?

Prime Deals and the showcase hold items priced individually, and clothing and shoes have their own sections at their own set prices. Mystery boxes turn up too. Anything outside the daily bins is marked right on the tag.

How much are clothing and shoes, and do those prices drop too?

Clothing and shoes are priced separately from the bins — each piece carries its own price, marked right on the tag, so the daily $10-down-to-$1 drop applies to bin items only. We do mark those sections down from time to time, but not on a fixed schedule and not tied to the bins’ $1 day — follow your store’s Facebook page if you want to catch it.

What are the shopping etiquette rules?

A few things keep the store safe and pleasant for everyone: watch for sharp objects while digging through bins, leave bags at the door, never leave your cart unattended, no running in the aisles, and please be respectful of other shoppers and staff. Team members are always happy to help if you have questions.
